A major auction of imported American classic cars is set to take place at the Brooklands Museum on the 1st of September this year, with plenty of vintage models from across the pond on offer.
There will be a wide variety of US classics on sale, with classic car expert, Ben Klemezson, pointing out that purchasing a vintage American vehicle will actually be quite a good investment, as long as you go for one of the popular models.
One of the stars of the show is expected to be a 1958 Buick Rivera, which is in mint condition and was endowed with all of the optional features available at the time, by its original owner.
The Buick Riviera measures 19 feet from bumper to bumper and has various impressive technology onboard for its age, including electric windows and even air conditioning.
It is anticipated that this particular example of the Riviera will fetch up to £24,000 when it is sold alongside many other American cars, during the event next month.
Brooklands Museum, which is located in Surrey, is a great place for car enthusiasts to visit, even when there is not an auction taking place, so you might want to plan a trip yourself.
