The Brimar Vintage and Classic Car Run will be taking place at the weekend, in order to raise money for a local Somerset children's hospice, according to Burnham-on-Sea.com.
It is expected that in excess of 170 classic cars will be involved in the run, which starts in Brent Knoll and then winds its way to Weston.
There will be almost two hours during which members of the public can check out the wide array of classic cars, while they are parked at the Sanders Garden World car park, from 10am this Sunday.
After they arrive in Weston there will be a similar opportunity for public viewing, this time held at The Lawns, from around 12.30 until four.
In 2011, the event was able to raise almost £4.5K for the Children's Hospice South West, according to organiser, Mary Curtis. She said that in 2012, it is anticipated that even more cash will be collected, thanks to the growing profile of the rally.
Cars including a 1928 Star Sunshine Saloon and a 1973 Triumph TR6 are expected to take part and the roads of Somerset will be filled with rare, classic vehicles for all to enjoy this weekend.
