If you're in and around North Wales this weekend, don't be too surprised if you see a few classic cars on the roads, as the Three Castles Welsh Classic Trial is taking place.

The event has been run annually since 2003, and is based around the seaside town of Llandudno (pictured above). Just over 100 cars, ranging from 31 years old to 80 years old will cover the 500-mile course, over four days, June 5 to 9.

The event may be called a rally, but it is most definitely no race, rather it's more a social event for classic car owners and fans. Amongst the cars taking part are examples of MG TD, MGA, Austin-Healey 100/4, Austin-Healey 3000, Aston Martin DB5, Jaguar KK120, Austin Mini Cooper S, Porsche 911, Triumph TR4, Abarth 750GT, Maserati 3500GT, and more.

For those interested in catching some of the classic cars action, here's the timetable. Please note, the organisers advise that you not attempt to follow the rally on the road, instead pick a place along the route, or make your way to the meeting points.
