The TR6 is one of the last true British sports cars. The later 2.5ltr six pot injection is a fine engine that matches well with the chassis of these cars. This one has a nice comprehensive history being in the same family from 1978. The bill of sale and Bank account details show that it was sold to a Doctor in 1978 for £1,845.00 The 24 service bills go right up to 2008, and the mot record goes back to 1981 and certifies the 77,000 recorded mileage. The original brochure, hand book and manual are with the car. The car has not been used very much in the last three years and is now undergoing some recommissioning work, a tidy up of the interior and a couple of small marks on the paintwork, but it is a very genuine solid car. The car was originally a Magenta colour, but was changed many years ago to red with the exception of the engine bay, as it was thought this would prove the genuine condition of the car with all the correct labels etc. The wheels have all be refurbished and look great and the white roof makes it stand out in a crowd.
